I'm only a beginner to underwater photography and pretty rubbish at it currently

but I absolutely love it. We used up 3 16 gb memory cards at the shoot. About four hours in the pool I think my results were worth it. Plus it was a lot of fun. I know that part of my problem is my equipment. I'm planning to save and get a real professional underwater case instead of the cheap one I'm using. Part also is I need to learn to swim and more importantly to sink. I don't sink.... I was always excellent at floating and never learned any proper swimming techniques. At one point one model tried to tie the safety floaty to my arm so I'd stop scaring them with my almost drowning as I insisted on trying to go deep to get the shots even though I cant swim.

I wasn't going to let drowning stop me from doing what I wanted. So swimming and diving classes are in my future. My discovery of this new genre of photography has opened up another door and intrigued me. I've never been so challenged and I love it. Till I get better equipment for clearer shots I'm going to just work on technique settings and composition. This is so exciting!!
